Clinical Manifestation
The first signs are neck and back muscle stiffness, difficulty to swallow, contraction of the muscles of the face, that produces sardonic laugh and there is contraction of the back muscles, that produces incurvation. The muscle spasms can be violent, and sometimes can be provoked by the softest stimulus, that could be dangerous for the pulmonary airing. It can or cannot exist fever, when the disease progresses this stiffness spreads to other muscles and can produces the death by suffocation, because of that affects the larynx muscles.
